Meagan Fitzgerald Romero, Senior Associate of Sales & Leasing and Director of Business Operations at Fitzgerald Realty Group, Inc., brings a strong educational foundation and a deep passion for real estate to her role in the firm.  Meagan’s inspiration to pursue a career in real estate stems from her commitment to helping others, and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and properties as no two deals are alike.

Growing up in a real estate family, Meagan has developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the industry, carrying this passion throughout her career, excelling in client relationships, property preparation, and transaction management.  Her client-centric approach emphasizes effective communication and timely, organized service.  Fluent in Spanish, she connects with a broad clientele and actively pursues professional growth and networking opportunities.

Meagan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. As a Maryland native and graduate of The Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, MD, Meagan continues to give back to the local communities.

Seamus Fitzgerald is a native of Frederick, MD and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as the Executive Vice President at Fitzgerald Realty Group, Inc. With a career spanning three decades, Seamus has established himself as a highly skilled professional who has experienced multiple market cycles in the real estate industry, and is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the “Modern Masterpiece” award, and the coveted “Dealmaker of the Year” award.

Within the real estate industry, Seamus specializes in sales and leasing of numerous commercial property types.  His expertise extends to areas such as networking, marketing strategies, and financial analysis.  As an investor, landlord, buyer, and seller himself, Seamus brings a unique perspective to the table, and believes in the power of listening to clients, as it provides valuable insights into their requirements and enables him to tailor solutions accordingly.

Seamus’ formal business training started at the age of 8, when he went to work in his grandfather’s appliance store.  Growing up in a commercial real estate family, Seamus’s journey in real estate also began at a young age, starting with mowing grass at company projects and many other roles in the industry on his way to Executive Vice President.

Seamus’ academic training includes being named a Presidential Honor Scholar at Gonzaga College High School in Washington DC and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance, with a focus in Real Estate.

Seamus enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering, YMCA, Blessings In A Backpack, the Frederick Rescue Mission, and youth sports.

In his spare time, Seamus is an experienced private pilot, with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings.  His favorite flying destination is Key West, FL.

Jim Fitzgerald is the Founder, President, and CEO of Fitzgerald Realty Group, Inc. a family and veteran-owned company.  Jim’s foundation in commercial real estate began in downtown Frederick in 1976 and has facilitated award winning commercial transactions in the region for nearly 50 years.

Jim’s long term success in real estate is a result not only of his expertise in the field, but also of his dedication to the industry and building relationships in the community.  The Frederick County Office of Economic Development recently awarded Jim the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement” award in recognition of his lifelong dedication to commercial real estate.

Jim’s community involvement includes Chairman of the Board of Frederick Memorial Hospital (now Frederick Health), and leadership roles with many charities including the March of Dimes, YMCA, and Blessings in a Backpack.

Jim holds a degree in Economics from Georgetown University, where he was captain of the Varsity Crew.  Jim also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
